TNA Execs Make Surprise Appearance, TNA’s Backstage Morale
|
- The Wrestling Observer is reporting that TNA executives showed up unannounced to the recent Dayton, OH TNA house show event and were said to be blown away by how different the TV tapings are compared to the live house show events.
- The Wrestling Observer also reported that TNA locker room morale is said to be at an all-time low right now, and it was especially down at the last set of Impact tapings and during the Slammiversary PPV. One of the main reasons why is because when Dixie Carter makes statements like “an announcement is coming that will change TNA forever,” the talent in the locker room feel like they’re being worked and kayfabed as none of them have any idea what’s going on.

Impact Opener
Hulk Hogan comes out first and he looks around at the fans before he gets in the ring. He finally gets in and says he has felt this energy before and TNA is getting moving now. He says alot of things are happening and he’ll get right to it, and because of last week it will be a four way match at Victory Road for the TNA Championship. He is putting over the participants until Abyss’ music hits, and he comes out wearing a hood and doesn’t have the Hogan mashup song anymore.
Hogan says it is good to see him, and he wants to know why he acted the way he did. Abyss says no one realizes what is going on and he will continue to do what he has been doing is because “they” told him to. Abyss says they are coming sooner than Hogan thinks, and there is nothing that Bischoff, Dixie Carter or Hogan can do about it. Hogan tells him to cut the crap and asks Abyss who they are. Abyss says everyone will find out soon enough, and he doesn’t need Hogan or anyone anymore. He says to tell Bischoff and Dixie that when they get here they will take TNA over, and there is nothing they can do about it. Abyss says one last thing, he doesn’t want Hogan’s “garbage” ring anymore, and shoves it down Hogan’s throat. Abyss chokes Hogan in the corner and then gets the bag full of broken glass and points at Hogan.

Reason For Lack Of Updates

Hey everyone, sorry there haven’t been much updates lately. I’ve been really busy with school, work and my life outside of the internet, but shortly I will be back up to speed with updates. My internet may also be going down in a week for a few days, but I will post more about that later. Once again, sorry for the lack of updates. I will be updating regularly shortly.

Happy Anniversary TNA!!!!! I can’t believe it’s been 8 years since TNA’s inception. It’s been such an exciting and thrilling experience. It’s really hard to put into words sometimes. TNA has undergone a lot of change over the past couple of years and the growth of the company has been absolutely amazing to watch and be a big part of. There is nothing I am more proud of in the world than what we have accomplished in TNA over the past 8 years. Me being an original member of TNA makes Slamiversary VIII this Sunday mean even more to me. As a matter of fact, it means the WORLD to me. You see, as I’ve eluded to in past blogs, the “critics” all said back in 2002 when TNA was born, that TNA would not make it 6 months and we did. Then the “critics”, ironically the same “critics” who have never even competed in a wrestling ring of any kind, said that we wouldn’t make it 1 year and we did that too. And then the “critics”, most of whom hide behind the obscurity of the internet, said we would not make it 3 years and guess what??? WE DID. And now its 8 years later and look at the unbelievable growth that TNA has experienced. From the video game to the action figures and merchandise line all the way to the international touring and Spike TV, TNA and all it’s family members have worked so hard to make this company what it is today. We will celebrate all this hard work and perserverence this coming Sunday at Slamiversary. And now, with 2010 bringing some familiar faces to TNA like Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair, the possibilities are endless. With folks like Jeff Hardy and Rob Van Dam members of the TNA family now, I can’t even begin to imagine what TNA’s growth will be over the next 8 years. I can’t wait!! I’m really looking forward to it,

iMPACT! Opener
AJ Styles comes out with Desmond Wolfe, Beer Money and Kazarian with him, but Ric Flair is not with them. AJ says since Flair isn’t here he will take control of the situation, which is they are in an eight man tag match. The problem is that there are five of them and this match won’t work. AJ says four works, and he has a solution, and tries kicking Kazarian out of the group. Kazarian argues with AJ, until Flair’s music hits, but it’s Jay Lethal!
Lethal tells AJ he will never be the man, and Lethal says he is looking at a god right now. Lethal is mimicking Flair and takes off his jacket and elbow drops it on the stage. Lethal says there is definitely an eight man tag, and he wants to introduce his team. Abyss comes out first and Lethal tells Wolfe not to worry, because Chelsea will come round the mountain when she comes, and then says the next guy is so good he is named twice. Mr. Anderson comes out and Lethal says they’ll win because AJ has a bunch of scrubs. AJ says Kazarian doesn’t count, but they’ll kick Lethal’s team’s ass and he can’t count because there’s only three of them. Lethal says Abyss counts twice and they won’t wait, and they’ll do this now.
Lethal, Abyss and Anderson head to the ring and Lethal dives over the top rope onto AJ and Kazarian. All eight guys are brawling around the ring until the heels start to win the numbers game, and then Jeff Hardy runs in from the crowd to make the save. Lethal’s team stands in the ring while Team Flair retreats up the ramp.

New Monsters Blog (6/3)
|
I know I know, you were all wondering where I have been with my weekly blog appropriately named the Monster Blog?? Well wonder no more as I am back and ready to blog away and share my thoughts and feelings with all of you about some of the current events and affairs not only in TNA, but in the world as we know it. I missed you guys a lot too and I am energized and ready to kick the Monster Blog into high gear as we approach Slamiversary!!! That’s right everybody….the 8th anniversary of TNA Wrestling is almost here. Wow..I can’t believe its been 8 years since the birth of TNA. I have been here with TNA for all of them and let me be the first to tell you that each one has been bigger, better, and more spectacular than the one before and this year is shaping up to fall right in line with the past 7 Slamiversary’s. For me, as well as some of the other TNA originals such as AJ Styles and James Storm just to name a couple, Slamiversary has a very special and signigicant meaning that runs far deaper than just our premier summertime pay per view. Slamiversary to me represents all of the dedication, perserverence, and determination that TNA has exhibited over the past 8 years to continue its growth and maturation into a strong and relevant wrestling company. One that I am more proud of than anything else in my life. You see, when we started, all the critics and so called pundents said that TNA couldnt and wouldnt work. They said it would never make it 6 months….then they said a year…..then it went to 2 years…..and then 3 years. And here we are 8 years later and TNA is stronger now more than ever. We proved to EVERYONE that we belonged by our hard work ethic, drive, and unwillingness to accept defeat. We have over come all the odds and continue to prove that hard work ethic and pride can make great things happen. I can hardly wait to see the growth of TNA over the next 8 years. I’ll have more about Slamiversary over the next couple weeks as we get closer to June 13 and the anniversary of my home…TNA Wrestling.
