Born Chris Parks, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling star Abyss was born in Washington D.C., and now resides in Cleavland, Ohio. Since his debut in TNA, Abyss has earned 2 championships, and has also won the first ever Fight For the Right tournament in 2006.

Beer Money ended up losing to Jeff Jarrett & Abyss. Beer Money worked very hard for several minutes to turn the crowd against them before the faces were introduced. Jarrett played babyface in peril for a long time before Abyss finally got the hot tag. Several near falls by each team after that, finally ending with Abyss pinning Roode after a black hole slam.

The final match before the intermission saw X-Division Champion, Doug Williams, issue an open challenge to anyone in the back. He claimed the match wasn’t for his title and that he wanted more of a challenge. Abyss answered the challenge with his remixed theme that includes Hogan’s American Made. Abyss wins a solid match with a black hole slam. After the match he celebrates like Hogan by cupping his ear to tell which side of the arena is the loudest.
