iMPACT! Opener

The new #1 contender, Abyss, makes his way to the ring with his weapon, “Janice”, and a huge piece of raw beef. Abyss says “they” have a plan for RVD and it involves him and his “girl”. He says it’s extreme and it’s beyond anything he’s ever done in the business, and he’ll tell him the plan later. He says he is waiting for instructions from “them” and introduces Janice. She is smart and sexy, and tall and sharp, but she also has a dark side. He says she also like pain and Abyss starts slamming the board into the meat and then he bites into the leg and eats some of it. Abyss says RVD will realize what a bitch his girl is, and he starts ripping some of the meat off with his hands and keeps eating it.

Impact Opener

Hulk Hogan comes out first and he looks around at the fans before he gets in the ring. He finally gets in and says he has felt this energy before and TNA is getting moving now. He says alot of things are happening and he’ll get right to it, and because of last week it will be a four way match at Victory Road for the TNA Championship. He is putting over the participants until Abyss’ music hits, and he comes out wearing a hood and doesn’t have the Hogan mashup song anymore.

Hogan says it is good to see him, and he wants to know why he acted the way he did. Abyss says no one realizes what is going on and he will continue to do what he has been doing is because “they” told him to. Abyss says they are coming sooner than Hogan thinks, and there is nothing that Bischoff, Dixie Carter or Hogan can do about it. Hogan tells him to cut the crap and asks Abyss who they are. Abyss says everyone will find out soon enough, and he doesn’t need Hogan or anyone anymore. He says to tell Bischoff and Dixie that when they get here they will take TNA over, and there is nothing they can do about it. Abyss says one last thing, he doesn’t want Hogan’s “garbage” ring anymore, and shoves it down Hogan’s throat. Abyss chokes Hogan in the corner and then gets the bag full of broken glass and points at Hogan.

iMPACT! Opener

AJ Styles comes out with Desmond Wolfe, Beer Money and Kazarian with him, but Ric Flair is not with them. AJ says since Flair isn’t here he will take control of the situation, which is they are in an eight man tag match. The problem is that there are five of them and this match won’t work. AJ says four works, and he has a solution, and tries kicking Kazarian out of the group. Kazarian argues with AJ, until Flair’s music hits, but it’s Jay Lethal!

Lethal tells AJ he will never be the man, and Lethal says he is looking at a god right now. Lethal is mimicking Flair and takes off his jacket and elbow drops it on the stage. Lethal says there is definitely an eight man tag, and he wants to introduce his team. Abyss comes out first and Lethal tells Wolfe not to worry, because Chelsea will come round the mountain when she comes, and then says the next guy is so good he is named twice. Mr. Anderson comes out and Lethal says they’ll win because AJ has a bunch of scrubs. AJ says Kazarian doesn’t count, but they’ll kick Lethal’s team’s ass and he can’t count because there’s only three of them. Lethal says Abyss counts twice and they won’t wait, and they’ll do this now.

Lethal, Abyss and Anderson head to the ring and Lethal dives over the top rope onto AJ and Kazarian. All eight guys are brawling around the ring until the heels start to win the numbers game, and then Jeff Hardy runs in from the crowd to make the save. Lethal’s team stands in the ring while Team Flair retreats up the ramp.

Desmond Wolfe & Orlando Jordan vs Rob Terry & Abyss

OJ throws his “dumbbell’ at Abyss and then Wolfe goes to work on Abyss and tags in OJ. OJ goes to work on the injured arm of Abyss until Abyss hits a corner splash then throws OJ out of the ring. OJ goes to Chelsea and checks her out and she slaps him. Wolfe gets in his face and asks what he’s doing and this gives Abyss a chance to attack him. Inside the ring OJ walks right into Rob Terry and gets chokeslammed by Terry for the pin.

Orlando Jordan vs Abyss

Orlando comes out first and he is wearing Abyss pasties on his chest. Chelsea reluctantly comes out with Abyss and is obviously miserable and scared. OJ tries to start by hitting Abyss’s injured arm and punches at the bandages. Abyss rips the pasties off and then OJ retaliates and bites Abyss’s arm. OJ rips the bandages off and goes up top holding Abyss’s arm and crashes down on it. OJ runs at Abyss but he psyches up and splashes him in the corner. Abyss clotheslines OJ out of the ring and then picks him up and OJ throws Abyss into Chelsea. Abyss throws OJ down and goes to check on Chelsea but Desmond Wolfe runs down and hits Abyss with a pipe. He sends Abyss into the ring and Jordan and Wolfe beat down Abyss until Rob Terry came in for the save. Terry hits them both with a clothesline then Wolfe bails out of the ring and OJ gets chokeslammed. Abyss goes and checks on Chelsea, who is knocked out, and picks her up and carries her to the back.

Backstage Segment

Desmond Wolfe and Chelsea are talking about Chelsea going with Abyss. She is upset about having to do it, but Wolfe reassures her and says Abyss will have to answer to him if he tries anything, and Wolfe says Chelsea will always be his.

Ring Promo

Abyss comes out and says Desmond Wolfe has something, or someone, he owes him, so let’s get this done now. Chelsea is reluctantly brought to the ring as Desmond Wolfe is furious and yelling at security. Abyss says it’s quite ironic because at Sacrifice he made Wolfe his bitch, but tonight he’s taking Wolfe’s away from him. Wolfe says what we have is a sense of false security. Wolfe says if he thinks Abyss is taking her he’s sorely mistaken and is taking her over his dead body. He takes out security and hits Abyss with a low blow. He takes a bottle out of Chelsea’s bag and breaks it on the ringpost. He uses the jagged bottle to cut Abyss and his arm is bleeding alot. Chelsea is upset and thinks it’s too much. Abyss uses the opportunity to hit Desmond with the Black Hole Slam and he puts Chelsea on his shoulder and leaves with her.

- F4WOnline.com is reporting that Abyss needed 17 stitches in his arm as a result of the attack by Desmond Wolfe that aired on this past Thursday night’s edition of TNA Impact.

Abyss vs Rob Terry

Abyss is not coming to the ring because he is being arrested in the back. He is screaming he wants answers and says he didn’t do anything, and asks where Dixie and Hulk are. Desond Wolfe attacks him as the police have him by their squad car and Abyss is still confused as to what he did. Hogan comes up to the car and tells Abyss it will be OK and he will figure out what is going on. Abyss is pleading to leave his mask on and Hogan tells the cops to get Wolfe out of there. Hogan covers Abyss’ head with his hood and tells him it will be alright as Hogan tries to get Wofle out of the area.

Flair’s music hits but “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal comes out instead and points to his hand. He is doing the Flair strut and people are going crazy. He goes crazy on the WOOOO’s and brings up his hand and shows off the Hall of Fame ring. He says Hogan told him to wait until the end, but he can’t wait. Lethal is doing a pretty good Flair impersonation here, getting good laughs while hitting some classic Flair lines and even kneedrops the jacket. Some of the crowd breaks out a “We Want Ric” chant and the real Nature Boy hits the ring and doesn’t look amused.

Flair asks Lethal if he knows where he is, and says he is standing in front of God. Flair says he is being disrespected and asks Lethal if he wants to be Ric Flair. Lethal tries giving him the ring back and apologizes, and says this is the proudest moment of his career, just being in the ring with him. Flair thanks him for the ring but says it’s not over and slaps him. Lethal slaps him back and chops away in the corner and backbody drops Flair. Lethal now slaps on the Figure Four until Team Flair hits the ring and beat Lethal with belts. Abyss finally comes to the ring to try and help but the numbers are too much for him. Team 3D comes out to even things up and they are brawling around the ring. Now RVD’s music hits and he clears the heels from the ring as he is holding a chair.

Abyss is cutting a promo in a dark area backstage, saying the ring drives him and makes him believe in himself. He says it’s in his head that Hogan believes in him, and that it’s not the ring that powers him. He tells Flair he is going to take his ring when Flair loses the match tonight.

JB is telling the camera crew to follow him and he can hear screaming coming from AJ Styles’ locker room. AJ is saying it’s not fair and that Flair is also barred from ringside. Flair says it wasn’t part of their plan, but he knows AJ can beat whoever he has to face. He also wants a rematch of Team Hogan vs Team Flair and he is giving a five minute time limit. It doesn’t matter who Hogan brings because Flair is declaring himself winner by forfeit. He screams at JB and tells him to get out as he slams the door.

Abyss and Jeff Jarrett are in the ring to answer Flair’s challenge and Abyss has a microphone. He tells Flair they heard about the challenge, but the war between them ended last night when they did what they said they would do and kicked Team Flair’s ass. He says if RVD and Hardy weren’t already scheduled in a match that they would have no problem fighting them again. Ric Flair comes out with his team and flat out tells Abyss to kiss his ass. He sends his team to the ring and Abyss and Jarrett are trying to fend them off but can’t for long. Rob Terry’s music hits and he comes out and cleans house. He press slams Desmond Wolfe into Sting and Flair is screaming at Jarrett, telling hiim he is a dead man. Eric Bischoff comes out and says he thought Flair learned his lesson last night. Bischoff says Flair will get his rematch, but he is adding Rob Terry to the match, and another partner who Bischoff says is dying to lace up his boots and kick Flair’s ass.
